Create a New Style
You can create new styles to add to the existing style gallery. You can create styles for paragraphs, tables and even lists to ensure formatting consistency across a document and save time.
The easiest way to create a new style is to format some text on a document the way that you want it to look, and then to save it as a style.
- Select the text that contains the formatting you want to use
- Click on the More button in the corner of the Styles Gallery and click Save Selection as a New Quick Style from the menu
- The Create New Style from Formatting dialogue box appears. Enter a name for the style in the Name: box
The created style appears in Style Gallery for use in the document.
