AutoFormat As You Type

AutoFormat automatically formats characters as you type such as fractions (½, ¼) and ordinals (1st, 2nd). AutoFormat also assists with the entry of month and weekday names.

To use AutoFormat you just enter the characters as usual and they are automatically formatted. For example, if you type 1/2 it is automatically converted to ½. And when you begin to type the name of a month a ScreenTip appears to complete the entry.
