Aligning Text

Paragraph text can be aligned to the left, right, centre or justified on a page. Justified alignment ensures the text touches both margins of the page preventing gaps appearing at the end of each line of a paragraph.

  1. Click inside the paragraph text you want to format.
  2. Click the Align Left, Center, Align Right or Justify button on the Formatting toolbar
  3. Alignment buttons

Text can also be aligned using the keyboard shortcuts listed in the table .
