Create a New Document From a Template
Create a new document from a template to gain access to the macros and styles that the template provides. A template can also contain the headers and footers and other page text already set up.
This can save a great deal of time and ensure a standardisation across a businesses documentation.
- Click File > New
- The New Document task pane appears. Click on the On my computer link under Templates
- The Templates dialogue box is displayed and all the templates saved to the Templates folder are shown
- Select the Document option from the Create New panel
- Click Ok
Select the template you want to use
