Modify Form Field Options

After adding the form fields, you should modify their options so that their behaviour suits the form. For example, you need to create the items for the drop down list, and set the formatting for the text boxes.

  2. Set the desired options
  3. Text form field options

Type: Select the type of entry such as text, currency or date

Default text: Type the text you want to display by default when the form is opened. The text can then be edited if the user wishes to enter something different. Leave the box empty if you do not want to display any default text

Maximum length: Specify the number of characters the user is allowed to enter

Text format: Select a format for the text. This option is relative to what was selected in the Type box. For example, if text is selected then the options include uppercase or lowercase, but if date is selected the options include dd/mm/yyyy and dd mmmm yyyy
