Aligning and Distributing Objects
Objects should be accurately aligned with each other and distributed equally. Objects can also be accurately aligned in relation to the slide.
Align objects to the slide
- Select the object that you wish to align
- Click the Arrange button in the Drawing group of the Home tab
- Select Align and then the type of alignment you wish to use e.g. Align Center to align the object in the centre of the slide
Notice that the Align to Slide option is ticked, meaning that the object will be aligned to the slide rather than aligned with another object on the slide.
Objects can also be aligned using the Align button on the objects Format contextual tab.
