Applying a Standard Animation Effect

Animation effects can be applied to text and objects within a presentation to give the presenter more control and to provide a visual effect to the audience. The easiest way to apply an effect in PowerPoint 2007 is to use the preset standard animations provided.

1. Select the text or object that you want to animate
2. Click the Animations tab on the Ribbon
3. Click the Animate list arrow in the Animations group



4. Select an effect from the list of preset animations that appears

If you have selected multiple bullet points, select the By First Level Paragraph option of an effect to have each bullet point animate individually

The animation is applied and a preview of the effect is played
