Copy Slides from another Presentation

PowerPoint 2007 has a feature that makes copying slides from other presentations a breeze. You can decide whether the reused slides should match the current presentations formatting, or keep their source formatting

  1. Select the slide that will precede the newly inserted slide(s)
  2. Click the drop list arrow on the New Slide button in the Slides group of the Home tab
  3. Reuse presentation slides

  4. Click Reuse Slides
  5. The Reuse Slides Task Pane is displayed

  6. Click the Browse button and select Browse File
  7. Browse for presentation file

  8. Locate the presentation that you wish to copy the slides from and click Open
  9. The slides from the selected presentation are displayed. A preview appears as you hover over each slide so that you can easily identify the slides you are looking for

  10. Click the Keep source formatting check box to keep the slides formatting after it is inserted. By default, all inserted slides will obey the current presentations master slide
  11. Click on each slide of the presentation you want to insert, selecting a different slide in your current presentation to precede the new one if necessary
