Create a Chart

Charts can be inserted into your PowerPoint presentations for a graphical representation of data.

PowerPoint 2003 uses an application called Microsoft Graph allowing a chart to be created and edited directly within PowerPoint.

There are several ways of creating a chart:

  • Double click the Chart placeholder on the Chart slide layout
  • Click the Chart icon on one of the Content or Text and Content layouts
  • Insert a chart

  • Click the Insert Chart button on the Standard Toolbar Inserting a chart
  • Click Insert > Chart from the menu bar

On using either option, Microsoft Graph is started
