UPPER Function

The UPPER function is used to convert the text in a cell to uppercase.

The syntax for the UPPER function is:

=UPPER(text)

Argument	Purpose
Text	The text you want to convert to uppercase, usually entered as a cell reference

The example below shows the UPPER function being used to convert the text in cells A2 and A3 to uppercase.
