LOWER Function

The LOWER function is used to convert the text in a cell to lowercase.

The syntax for the LOWER function is:





The text you want to convert to uppercase, usually entered as a cell reference

The example below shows the LOWER function being used to convert the text in cells A2 and A3 to lowercase.
