CEILING Function
The Excel CEILING function is used to round a number up to a multiple of significance. For example, you could round a number up to 2 decimal places, or to the next multiple of 5.
The syntax for the CEILING function is:
=CEILING(number,significance)

The number you want to round up |
Significance |
The multiple of sigificance you want to round the number up to. This must match the sign of the number you are using. For example, you cannot round a negative number to a positive number |
