Managing Range Names

You can change the name of a range and the range that it references. Named ranges can also be deleted if no longer needed.

To edit a named range:

1. Click the Formulas tab on the Ribbon
2. Click the Name Manager button in the Defined Names group

The Name Manager dialogue box appears



3. Select the named range and click the Edit button

The Edit Name dialogue box appears



4. Rename the range by editing the Name field or update the cell range in the Refers to field.
5. Click Ok
6. Close the Name Manager

The named range is updated with your changes.

Click the Delete button in the Name Manager to remove an unwanted named range.
