Chart Layout and Styles

Excel 2007 provides a variety of built-in chart layouts and styles that allow you to format charts with the click of a button.

Apply a chart layout

The built-in chart layouts allow you to quickly adjust the layoutof your chart with a different combination of titles, labels and orientations.

1. Select the chart.
2. Click the Design tab under Chart Tools on the Ribbon.
3. Select the layout you want from the Layouts gallery in the Chart Layouts group.

Click the More button to see the full layout gallery.



4. The new chart layout is applied.

Apply a chart style

The built-in chart styles format several elements of a chart at once.

1. Select the chart.
2. Click the Design tab under Chart Tools on the Ribbon.
3. Select the style you want from the Style gallery in the Chart Styles Group.



4. The new chart style is applied.
