Print Titles
Print Titles enables you to specify rows and columns to repeat on each printed page.
This is especially useful for large documents spanning multiple pages. Print Titles can be used to repeat the headings at the top or left of each page. The reader can then easily identify what the data is referring to without looking at the first page for the headings.
- Click the Page Layout tab on the Ribbon
- Click the Print Titles button in the Page Setup group
- Click the Rows to repeat at top or Columns to repeat at left cell reference button, and select the range of labels that you want to repeat on each page
- Click Ok
The Page Setup dialogue box appears with the Sheet tab displayed.
The Print titles panel provides 2 options. Rows to repeat at top or Columns to repeat at left.
The $1:$1 shown in the example below means the labels in row 1 will be repeated on every printed page.
Check Print Preview to see the selected range repeated on every page.
