Excel 2007 Status Bar
The Status Bar displays information whilst you work. For example it will tell you if you're Caps Lock or Num Lock keys are turned on.
On the right of the Status Bar are 3 view buttons and the Zoom Slider. The Zoom Slider is a neat new tool that you can drag left or right to alter the zoom level. Alternatively you can click on the zoom level for some more standard options.

It is possible to customise the Status Bar. Click the bar with the right mouse button and a shortcut menu appears. Select or deselect the relevant options and click elsewhere on the screen to hide the shortcut menu again.
