Using Range Names in Formulas
A range name can be referenced within a formula.
When writing the formula, just enter the range name instead of the cell reference. When you do so, the range name should change colour indicating that Excel recognises that name.

If you are unsure of the named range's spelling, you can paste the range name into the formula
Whilst entering the formula in the formula bar:
- Click Insert > Name > Paste
- The Paste Name dialogue box appears
- Click Ok
Select the desired range name
