Working with Chart Labels

You can add and edit individual chart labels such as chart titles, axis titles and data labels.

Adding a chart and axis titles

1. Select the chart
2. Click Chart > Chart Options
3. Click the Titles tab
4. Enter the chart and axis titles into the appropriate fields



5. Click Ok

Modifying the Legend

1. Select the chart
2. Click Chart > Chart Options
3. Click the Legend tab
4. Select a different position for the Legend, or uncheck the Show legend box to remove the Legend from the chart
5. Click Ok

Adding Data Labels

1. Select the chart
2. Click Chart > Chart Options
3. Click the Data Labels tab
4. Select the labels you would like to display on the chart

The list of label options provided depends on the chart type used. The image below shows data labels for a pie chart.



5. Click Ok

Adding a Data Table

1. Select the chart
2. Click Chart > Chart Options
3. Click the Data Table tab
4. Click in the checkbox to Show data table



5. Click Ok
